The Blount County Fire Protection District is currently accepting applications for two senior command officer positions: Operations Deputy Chief and Administration Deputy Chief . These roles are open to qualified internal and external applicants and are vital to strengthening our command structure . Position Overview: Status: Full Time Salary: $70,000 Annually Core Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible fire service experience . Minimum 3 years of supervisory or command-level experience . Ability to obtain Fire Officer III within 1 year of appointment . Associate degree from an accredited college or university (or the ability to obtain one within 4 years of appointment) . Demonstrated leadership, judgment, integrity, accountability, and professionalism . Strong written and verbal communication skills . Valid driver's license .
